The five things I can't stop thinking about.

I'm a software engineer who writes — about software, health, sport, food and life. Five threads that keep turning out to be the same thread. No feeds, no funnels. Just the notebook.

A bit about me

Hello / hola

I build software for a living and can't stop poking at how the rest of life works the same way — in systems, feedback loops, and small habits that compound.

I grew up just outside Barcelona, in l'Hospitalet de Llobregat. By day I'm an engineer; the rest of the time I'm lifting something heavy, cooking something simple, or trying to undo whatever the week did to my sleep. None of it stays in its own lane, so I stopped pretending it did.

This site is where it all goes — one notebook for the code, the training, the food, and the thinking in between. If something here is useful, or wrong, or you just want to say hello, I'm easy to find.

The notebook

  1. I keep building my own tools Every time something doesn't exist, or exists but doesn't fit me, I end up building it myself. After enough times you stop calling it a coincidence.
  2. Is this food good or not Every nutrition app answers a question my dad never asked. He doesn't want a score to decode. He wants to know if he can eat the thing.
  3. It always comes back to the mountains Software, health, sport, food, life — it looks like five different interests. Look closer and they all point at the same place.
  4. My watch said I slept badly I woke up full of energy and a number told me I was wrong. That's when I stopped trusting training apps and built my own.

Building

A handmade Astro site where code, training, and life share one notebook instead of five separate feeds.

Say hello

Most of the thinking lands here first. The rest of me is a short list of links — I read everything.
